Self-authored designer is not only a good way of sharing ideas, past experiences, also it’s a good way to enlighten people about whats going on around them.

I agree with the idea...


Here is a very good example to this subject:
Alan Fletcher.He had published a book called '' The art of looking sideways " this book is authored by him, designed by him and financed by himself.
What he wanted is, to share his lifetime experience in a distilled way in a book as self-authored designer. While doing this his point of view is not only enlighten the new designers, but also the people who are interested in design, to look sideways to find a solution in life and in design.

self + content. The designer as self-authored is the central presence of the designer as a voice and vision in the process of: Form-creation plus Message formulation. According to this designer’s reference with the content can come from; personal experience, observation, research, collaboration, entrepreneurial.
